So I thought it was about time that I put another post on here....
Its hard to believe but i have been over here almost 8 weeks, and there is only 10 days left of camp left! I cant believe how quickly it has gone, i really cant! At the moment, I am still having a great time, but am ready for camp to come to a close because I am so so tired and rundown....and sick of the food!!!! :) but having said that, I am going to be so sad when i leave here, because it really has been the best experience, and I am going to miss my campers so much, not to mention all the friends i have met here from all over the world!
But having said that, in 10 days, I GET TO GO TO NEW YORK!!!! and then all the travelling begins for 4 weeks!!! woooooooo so excited! and I am meeting jayne in new york which i am unbelievably excited about (to see a friendly face from home) and also travelling with some of the people i have met here!!! I'm so lucky and so so excited! We are staying in a hostel in New York for 6 nights, and then after that, the plan is to jump on a train down to florida for a few days and then make our way gradually across the country on the train to L.A, vegas, san fransisco etc. I really cant wait! I'm smiling at the computer just thinking about it!
Anyway, what else is news....ummmmmmm oh on my last day off, me and some of my friends went to the waterfalls that are close by....and I swam at the bottom of the waterfall, slid down the waterfall, and climbed to the top and stood at the very top in the middle of the waterfall! It was so amazing, I got lots of awesome photos, so i will have to put some up later if i get a chance!!!!
we also went to the carrowinds theme park again last week....and believe it or not i actually went on tons of rides...even though i was petrified alot of the time! They were so much fun though, except for the old wooden roller coaster that i went on at the end, on which i honestly feared for my life! hehe. i also got soem of the photos you can buy of you on the ride....my facial expressions are so entertaining, cant wait to show you all when i get back!
anyway, i better run, but miss you all and hope you are well!

Hi Kel, the waterfalls sound beautiful and maybe similar to some of the lovely falls in Australia - specially up North. Can't wait to read your blogs when you start tripping across USA on the train system. Love Mumbo xx

PS I went on one of those old wooden rollercoasters in Sydney, and I feared for my life, too - I thought I would vibrate to death! I couldn't believe that we had loved them so much as kids...it was one of the most now-I'm-really-getting-old experiences I've had - quite demoralising! :0
Doesn’t time fly Kel when you’re having fun! Been great catching up with your adventures – so well described - especially glad that the bugs & mozzy bites haven’t stopped you enjoying the thrills of camping, making new friendships & learning the skills & thrills of rafting etc. It’s a great experience that you’ll no doubt treasure for life.
