hellloooooooo!!!! :)
So i have now left camp, which involved alot of hugs and tears! It was really sad to leave all the friends i have made behind, but I am really glad that I am on the home stretch and will be home soon! I miss everything!
Having said that, I am having the most amazing time travelling!!!!
It didnt start out the best though.....when I flew from North Carolina to New York, the airline lost my luggage so I had to put in a baggage claim, and it was pretty stressful there for a while because I didnt know where it was or if i was going to get it all back! But thankfully they found it 24 hours later, so i only had to smell in the same clothes etc for one day! hehe.
plus, when we arrived at the hostel we are staying in, we discovered that they had mucked up the booking, and hadnt booked us in for that night, so we had to sleep in their chairs in the lounge for the night, before we could check in the next day! I had the sorest back for the next couple of days! hehe. ah well, thats backpacking for you :)
but apart from that, i have been having a fantastic time in New York! Times Square is amazing! The first ime i saw it when we stepped off the subway I couldnt stop smiling, there was just big buildings and bright lights everywhere :) :)
Yesterday we went to see "Hairspray" on Broadway, and it was so so so so amazing! :) It sounds wierd to say that I have been to Broadway!!! :) it has been one of my life long dreams :)
Today we also went to see a baseball game....the New York Mets vs the Pirates....It was so cool, such an american thing to do :) although i must admit, i wasnt brave enough to try a corn dog yet!!!! hehe. We also went to Macy's....it was Ten stories high! no joke! i have never sene a department store so big! :)
It is so good to have jayne here as well! A bit of home with me!!!! :)
Tomorrow we are planning to see the statue of liberty, ground zero, central park etc.
On thursday Jayne and I are flying to L.A.....so excited!!!
I am now coming home on 31st August.....so i will be seeing you all soon :)

So many adventures! Can only imagine what it is like to see famous places like Times Square etc. You have to try a Corn Dog to let us know what it is like! Keep up the blogs!
