Carrowinds

Today we took some fo the kiddies on an excursion to Carrowinds! It's like a massive theme park on the border of North Carolina, kind of like Dreamworld and all those ones in Queensland! Oh my goodness it was so so much fun!

AND i went on my first EVER upside down roller coaster! I thought my head was going to explode and i lost my voice from screaming so much, but it was still fun!

It was a REALLY hot day today though, and so even though i slathered myself in sunscreen, i still managed to get burnt, especially on my nose so now i look a bit like rudolph! hehe. I'm going to try and upload some more pictures soon, its so funny because in all the photos, my freckles have come out sooooooo much! there seems to be about a million more of them as well!

I managed to pick up a few really awesome souveneirs there for people as well which was pretty cool. Oh and i kind of adopted a toy puppy (couldnt resist its cute face!) and named it Crayon..... :) i have put him on the top of my bunk facing towards the middle of the room and told my girls that he will be there watching over them on my days of and when im not in the cabin with them for some reason! They love it, its so cute!!!

the kids absolutely loved it, but most of them spent all their money on candy and so felt really sick on the bus on the way home! hehe so funny!

I'm still having the most amazing time.....very tiring but worth every minute of it! looking forward to heaqring goss from home, and I'll write again soon!

love kel

Hi Kelly! I keep forgetting how to sign in to the blog! I am loving reading your posts. I am so jealous of you being able to go swimming. It is really cold down here in Balnarring. Will and Tom and some of their friends are going to Philip Island to see the penguins tonight! They'll be cold. We had another koala in the garden the other day! I bet your campers would love to have seen that!
I love the way you put the dog up to watch over them. It sounds as though you are having the experience of a lifetime. I hope the next day off is better. Lots of love to you, and we'll think of you when we have Deb's birthday bash tomorrow...
